Milou Berends, MD, PhD, University Medical Center Groningen, Groningen, the Netherlands, discusses the diagnostic yield of two tests for patients with suspected cardiac amyloidosis: the diagnostic algorithm developed by Gillmore et al. (2016) and a novel multigene panel test. Dr Berends then comments on when to use each of these in clinical practice. This interview took place at the XIX International Symposium on Amyloidosis (ISA) in Rochester, MN.
