Advances in precision-engineered T-cell immunotherapy for alloSCT in AML, ALL and MDS

Samer Srour, MB ChB, MS, The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, TX, presents advances in precision-engineered T-cell immunotherapy for allogeneic stem cell transplantation (alloSCT), which aim to reduce graft-versus-host disease (GvHD), infections and non-relapse mortality while preserving the graft-versus-leukemia effect. Dr Srour presents data from the Phase III Precision-T trial (NCT05316701), which led to the FDA approval of ORCA-T in matched donor transplantation for adults with acute myeloid leukemia (AML), acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) or myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS). He also discusses the next-generation ORCA-Q (NCT03802695) and a Phase I trial of donor gamma delta T-cells to prevent AML relapse after alloSCT (NCT05015426). This presentation took place at the 8th International Workshop on Acute Leukemias (iwAL) in Cambridge, MA.
