ISTH 2022 | Obesity & arthropathy in patients with non-severe hemophilia

Oliver Königsbrügge, MD, PhD, Medical University of Vienna, Vienna, Austria, comments on the results of a study investigating the link between a higher body mass index (BMI) and arthopathy in patients with mild to moderate hemophilia. Interestingly, the study found that patients with an elevated BMI have lower joint bleeding scores.
