Jérôme Galon, MD, PhD, Inserm, Paris, France, gives an overview of the cancer immune contexture, defined as the immune parameters associated with patient survival, including the types of immune cells infiltrating tumors, the quantity of these cells, the location of immune cells, and the quality of the immune response.
