Telomere dynamics in normal and pathological aging

Coleman Lindsley, MD, PhD, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Boston, MA, gives a presentation on telomere dynamics in normal and pathological aging. Dr Lindsley highlights that most TERT missense variations in the general population are functionally impaired, with impairment severity predicting telomere length and clinical phenotype. He then goes on to discuss the implications of this. This presentation took place at the 8th International Workshop on Acute Leukemias (iwAL) in Cambridge, MA.
