Following a special lecture at the 2020 Virtual International Symposium on Amyloidosis, Giampaolo Merlini, MD, Foundation IRCCS Policlinico San Matteo, University of Pavia, Pavia, Italy discusses the aim for an amyloid disease cure. Prof. Merlini comments on the importance of basic research and early diagnosis and goes on to talk on the use of drugs such as ixazomib and daratumumab.
