In this interview, Brian Van Ness, PhD, of the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, MN, gives an overview of a specialised core facility that allows for the modelling of drug responses by multiple myeloma (MM) subtype through the identification of gene expression patterns in individualized cells, and can help identify the subclonal architecture of heterogeneous tumors.
