ICML 2021 | Advances in lymphoma imaging

Sally F. Barrington, MBBS, MSc, FRCP, FRCR, MD, King’s College London, London, UK, describes novel innovations in lymphoma imaging. Improvements in prognostic scores for diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) have included the incorporation of molecular markers such as circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) with existing positron emission tomography (PET). Prof. Barrington additionally discusses total body PET, a novel scanning technique that enables imaging of the whole body at ones, which can lead to increased sensitivity and increased scans over therapy, as well as potential for scanning in pediatric patients. This interview took place during the 2021 International Conference on Malignant Lymphoma (16-ICML).
