CAR-T Meeting 2023 | Insights into a novel murine model being used to investigate the pathophysiology of ICANS

Rita El Khoury, PhD, IRCCS San Raffaele Scientific Institute, Milan, Italy, shares some insights into a novel pre-clinical murine model being used to investigate the pathophysiology of CAR-related immune effector cell-associated neurotoxicity syndrome (ICANS). Dr El Khoury explains the importance of this model, and further highlights how it allowed researchers to assess brain regions involved in ICANS, as well as changes in locomotor activity. This interview took place at the EBMT-EHA 5th European CAR T-cell Meeting held in Rotterdam, The Netherlands.
