COMy 2022 | The potential of CAR-T therapy for the treatment of amyloidosis

In this video, Giampaolo Merlini, MD, Foundation IRCCS Policlinico San Matteo, University of Pavia, Pavia, Italy, briefly discusses the promising results observed with the use of CAR-T therapy in multiple myeloma, and the importance of this therapy for the potential treatment of amyloidosis. Prof. Merlini highlights some findings with the use of CAR-T therapy in a patient with myeloma and amyloidosis, and concludes by mentioning the upcoming meeting of the International Society of Amyloidosis (ISA). This interview took place at the 8th World Congress on Controversies in Multiple Myeloma (COMy) 2022, held in Paris, France.
