ISTH 2023 | Development of a universal point-of-care coagulometer to resolve the unmet needs in anticoagulation

In this video, Sasha Bakhru, PhD, Perosphere Technologies, Danbury, CT, shares some insights into a universal point-of-care coagulometer being developed for both emergency and outpatient settings. Dr Bakhru comments on the unmet needs in anticoagulation, including measurement and reversal, and further explains how this novel coagulometer could be used to provide physicians with a global view of a patient’s coagulation status prior to and following treatment. This interview took place at the 31st Congress of the International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis (ISTH), held in Montréal, Canada.
