IMW 2021 | Predicting drug resistance using single cell RNA sequencing in myeloma

Hareth Nahi, MD, PhD, of the Karolinska Institutet, Stockholm, Sweden, outlines how single-cell RNA sequencing can be used to predict drug resistance in patients with multiple myeloma. Dr Nahi reports that single-cell RNA sequencing is helping to identify cellular pathways and mechanisms of resistance, therefore contributing to improving our understanding of the biology underlying multiple myeloma. This interview took place during the 18th International Myeloma Workshop (IMW 2021) congress.
