Roni Shouval, MD, PhD, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, New York, NY, discusses the results of a single-center analysis evaluating the incidence of microbiota injury in allogeneic hematopoietic cell transplantation (allo-HCT). Dr Shouval concludes that conditioning regimens are associated with distinct patterns of microbiota injury independent of antibiotic exposure. This interview took place during the Transplantation & Cellular Therapy (TCT) 2021 Meetings.
