Jacqueline Barrientos, MD from the Feinstein Institute for Medical Research, Manhasset, NY is joined by colleagues Pablo Oppezzo, MD, Pasteur Institute of Montevideo, Montevideo, Uruguay and Shih Shih Chen, PhD, Feinstein Institute for Medical Research, Manhasset, NY to review the Young Investigators Meeting at the International Workshop on Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (iwCLL) 2017 held in New York, NY. The panel discuss the highlights from the meeting and agree that the standard of the presentations given by the young investigators was excellent. The high quality of the research presented is promising and the panel hopes that these investigators will become the future leaders in chronic lymphocytic leukemia.
