EORTC CLTF 2018 | Management & research for CTCL at the City of Hope

Steven Rosen, MD, Chief Scientific Officer of the City of Hope, Duarte, CA, provides an update on projects that are happening there currently. With clinics focusing on treating the most complicated patients with cutaneous T-cell lymphoma (CTCL), Dr Rosen describes his multidisciplinary team consisting of dermatologists, radiation oncologists, medical oncologists, a full-time social worker, and even a quality of life tool, all of which greatly benefits the standard of care. In addition, a laboratory at the City of Hope receives grants from charities such as the National Cancer Institute and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, which greatly aids research for CTCL. Dr Rosen also informs us of the latest clinical trials at the clinic, which have seen exciting responses in patients. This interview was recorded in the European Organisation for the Research and Treatment of Cancer (EORTC) Cutaneous Lymphoma Task Force (CLTF) 2018 Congress, held in St. Gallen, Switzerland.
