BSH 2022 | Session highlights: thrombosis and hemostasis

In this video, Gillian Lowe MA, MB BChir, MRCP, FRCPath, PhD, University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust, Birmingham, UK, gives an overview of some of the presentations that were held during a session at BSH 2022, which focused on thrombosis and hemostasis. Dr Lowe first discusses a study which investigated the benefits of giving desmopressin to patients having minor procedures on ITU, and then mentions another abstract which looked at data from the Thrombotic Thrombocytopenic Purpura (TTP) Registry and patient response to anti-CD20 therapies. Dr Lowe then discusses some other presentations held during this session and their importance for future studies in this field. This interview took place at the 62nd Annual Scientific Meeting of the British Society for Haematology (BSH) 2022, in Manchester, UK.
