Tuula Rintala, King’s College Hospital, London, UK, gives an overview of the changes made in the latest edition of the JACIE standards. These changes aim to further align the standards in clinical collection, quality management, and processing, as well as improve the safety of patients and donors during the transplantation process, and they take into account the wider multidisciplinary team involved in the care of transplant patients.
