Raffaella Greco, MD, PhD, San Raffaele Hospital, Milan, Italy, comments on the value of CAR-T therapy as a treatment option for patients with hematological malignancies, and further explains how novel cellular therapies and transplantation are interconnected. Dr Greco also highlights the challenge of determining how to best incorporate these novel agents into the current treatment landscape for various diseases to improve outcomes for patients.
