Here, David Maloney, MD, PhD, of Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, Seattle, WA, tells us what’s in store at the 2019 iwCAR-T Meeting to be held in Miami, FL, in October and how it will enable discussions on key areas of CAR T-cell therapy such as the management of toxicity and long-term follow ups. Prof. Maloney highlights how it will also allow experts in the field to learn from each other’s experiences.
