Andrea Visentin, MD, PhD, University of Padua, Padova, Italy, outlines a study assessing the impact of complex karyotype subtypes on the risk of chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) evolution into Richter’s syndrome (RS). The study identified variables associated with a higher risk of developing RS and created an RS scoring system to forecast the risk of developing RS. This interview took place during the 62nd American Society of Hematology (ASH) Annual Meeting and Exposition, 2020.
