Usman Ali Akbar, MBBS, University of Louisville, Louisville, KY, talks on the efficacy of monoclonal antibodies in the treatment of adult acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). Dr Akbar explains that monoclonal antibodies such as blinatumomab and inotuzumab ozogamicin are more effective than standard of care (SOC) chemotherapy. However, more clinical trials are needed to evaluate the safety and efficacy of these antibodies. This interview took place at the Transplantation & Cellular Therapy (TCT) Meetings of ASTCT™ and CIBMTR® 2022 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
