Eoin McGrath, BA, from the Joint Accreditation Committee ISCT (JACIE), European Society for Blood & Marrow Transplantation (EBMT), Barcelona, Spain, discusses steps involve in creating the JACIE model, using combination of public consultations and discussions between physicians and experts to give a consensus on the minimum requirements for treatment. Mr McGrath was speaking from the 1st European CAR T-Cell Meeting, held in Paris, France, co-organized by the European Society for Blood & Marrow Transplantation (EBMT) and the European Hematology Association (EHA).
