ASH 2023 | The mechanism of bispecific T-cell engagers in B-ALL: genomic alterations

Anna Gurevich-Shapiro, MD, MPhil, Weizmann Institute of Science, Rehovot, Israel, discusses a study exploring the mechanism of bispecific T-cell engagers in B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B-ALL). Using single-cell multiomics, the study identified the gene expression profile associated with T-cell engagement with target cells when exposed to bispecifics in vitro. Additionally, alterations to gene expression following blinatumomab treatment in patients were explored. This interview took place at the 65th ASH Annual Meeting and Exposition, held in San Diego, CA.
