Anita Waldmann, of Leukaemia Patient-Support Group RHEIN-MAIN, Ruesselsheim am Main, Germany, talks about how patient advocacy groups are useful tools for patients in the cancer treatment journey. Ms Waldmann mentions how they bring to the table a new aspect, patient input, regarding novel therapies, in order to help HCPs appreciate the patient’s point of view.
