Ulrike Koehl, MD, PhD, University of Leipzig, Leipzig, Germany, discusses strategies to improve human natural killer (NK) cell manufacturing. This includes using a cytokine cocktail to increase the NK cell expansion rate and performing manual procedures to improve the quality of purification, transduction and expansion rate of NK cells. This interview took place at the EBMT-EHA 4th European CAR T-cell Meeting which was held virtually in 2022.
