Thomas Fox, MbChB, MD, PhD, University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, London, UK, discusses the hematological manifestations associated with primary immunodeficiency disorders (PIDs). He advises investigating underlying PIDs in patients with autoimmune cytopenias, lymphoid, or myeloid malignancies, especially with a family history or history of infection. These disorders can be cured with a bone marrow transplant. This interview took place at the 50th Annual Meeting of the EBMT in Glasgow, Scotland.
