Simona Pagliuca, MD, PhD, Nancy University Hospital, Nancy, France, discusses the importance of immune monitoring following CAR-T therapy. Immune monitoring of the apheresis product, in particular levels of CD8+ T-cells, can be used to assess clinical responses and guide treatment decisions. A survey across centers in Europe found significant variability in practices, emphasizing the need for standardized immune monitoring post-CAR-T therapy. This interview took place at the 50th Annual Meeting of the EBMT in Glasgow, Scotland.
