Edward Cliff, MPH, MBBS, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston, MA, explains the need to improve access to CAR-T therapy in patients with hematological malignancies. Dr Cliff highlights the factors contributing to the high cost of CAR-T therapy and proposes solutions, including the use of novel manufacturing methods and increasing CAR-T therapy in the outpatient setting. This interview took place at the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) 2023 Annual Congress in Chicago, IL.
