Manel Juan Otero, MD, PhD, Hospital Clínic Barcelona, Barcelona, Spain, outlines the process of developing and manufacturing a novel CAR T-cell based on their own anti-CD19 antibody and making this treatment available to their patients. Dr Juan Otero reveals that the clinical trial data has been submitted to the Spanish agency and they are now waiting for approval of this novel CAR T-cell product.
