In this video, Kathryn Tringale, MD, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, New York City, NY, discusses a study which analyzed longitudinal consolidation patterns in a cohort of patients with primary CNS lymphoma. Results demonstrated a decrease in the use of whole-brain radiation therapy, and an increase in autologous stem cell transplantation (autoSCT) and cytarabine alone, and Dr Tringale further comments on ongoing research encouraging the use of reduced-dose whole-brain radiation therapy. This interview took place at the 17th International Conference on Malignant Lymphoma (ICML), held in Lugano, Switzerland.
