Rachel Phelan, MD, MPH, Medical College of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, WI, comments on the key updates that were made in the hematopoietic cell transplantation (HCT) survivorship guidelines, highlighting the inclusion of patient advocates, as well as new and expanded sections on the management of patients with hematologic complications and on psychosocial care following HCT. This interview took place at the 49th Annual Meeting of the European Group for Blood and Marrow Transplantation (EBMT) held in Paris, France.
