In this video, Elisa Ten Hacken, PhD, Weill Cornell Medicine, New York City, NY, emphasizes the need for further research into Richter’s transformation (RT) in order to fully understand the disease. Dr Hacken and her team use animal models to investigate RT biology, as although it is known that T-cell exhaustion facilitates transformation, many tumor intrinsic and extrinsic changes are not yet understood. This interview was recorded at the biennial International Workshop on Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (iwCLL) 2023 meeting, held in Boston, MA.
