Charles Mullighan, MBBS, MD, St. Jude Children’s Hospital, Memphis, TN, explains the genomic landscape of childhood acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) from the analysis of 2,789 children, adolescents and young adults with newly diagnosed B-ALL or T-ALL treated on Children’s Oncology Group and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital trials. This revealed a number of unexpected findings, as explained here by Dr Mullighan. This interview took place at the American Society of Hematology (ASH) 2019 Annual Meeting and Exposition in Orlando, FL.
