Rakesh Popat, MD, PhD, from University College London, London, UK, provides us an insight into the Clinical Trial Network run by Myeloma UK with the aim of effectively treating diseases including multiple myeloma (MM). Trials mentioned by Dr. Popat include the MUK9b trial (NCT03188172), evaluating the combination of daratumumab, revlimid and dexamethasone in treating MM, and the MUK8 trial (NCT02461888), which is investigating ixazomib in combination with cyclophosphamide and dexamethasone for the treatment of MM.
