Academic History
Xavier Leleu, MD, PhD, received his medical degree from the University of Bordeaux in Bordeaux, France. He then specialized in public healthcare and statistics at the University of Medicine of Paris, in Paris, France and in hematology at the University of Medicine of Lille, in Lille, France. Prof. Leleu completed a PhD at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Boston, MA, in 2007.
Prof. Leleu has served as Head of the Myeloma Clinic in Lille, France for 15 years. He frequently speaks at national and international congresses and is involved in the Intergroupe Francophone du Myélome (IFM).
Speaking on the biology and treatment of multiple myeloma
Prof. Leleu specializes in the biology and treatment of multiple myeloma, Waldenström’s macroglobulinemia and amyloidosis. He is involved in numerous international clinical trials as both an investigator and a coordinator.
