Dr Facon is a member of the American Society of Hematology (ASH), the International Myeloma Working Group (IMWG), the International Myeloma Foundation (IMF), and is a founding member and administrator of the Fondation Française pour la Recherche contre le Myélome et les Gammapathies (FFRMG).
