Susan O’Brien, MD, is a hematology oncologist from the University of California Irvine, Irvine, CA, who specializes in hematology and medical oncology. She oversees and coordinates clinical cancer research across the entire UCI Health enterprise, including medical oncology, radiation oncology, surgical oncology and gynecologic oncology.
Dr O’Brien received a bachelor degree in biochemistry from Holyoke College, South Hadley, MA and a medical degree from the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey Medical School, NJ, where she also completed her residency in internal medicine, followed by a fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, TX.
