Roberto Mina, MD, is an Assistant Professor at the University of Turin, Turin, Italy. He completed his medical education and specialization in Hematology at the University of Turin, followed by clinical and research fellowships in Hematology, including a visiting scholarship at Winship Cancer Institute, Emory University, Atlanta, GA. Dr Mina is a reviewer for journals such as Annals of Hematology and Neoplasma, and has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications in the field of multiple myeloma and plasma cell dyscrasias.
Speaking on advances in understanding and treating multiple myeloma
Dr Mina’s research focuses on plasma cell disorders, particularly multiple myeloma, including diagnosis, measurable residual disease (MRD) assessment, and the treatment of older patients. His work includes the design and implementation of national and international clinical trials, especially in early-phase studies, exploring novel agents, transplant strategies, and advanced therapeutic sequencing.
