Robert Kyle
Robert Kyle, MD, Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MI, is responsible for a great deal of the medical information we now have on myeloma, having published more than 1,850 scientific papers and abstracts on the disease. In 2008, Dr Kyle was awarded the Wallace H. Coulter Award for Lifetime Achievement in Hematology, the society’s highest honor.
Dr Kyle went to Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago, IL, graduating with distinction in June 1952, he then did a rotating internship at Evanston Hospital, a major teaching hospital affiliated with Northwestern University Medical School.
