Speaking on MRD assessment and mass spectrometry in multiple myeloma
Dr Puig specializes in the clinical application of high-sensitivity diagnostic tools in multiple myeloma, with a focus on measurable residual disease (MRD) assessment using next-generation flow cytometry (NGF) and mass spectrometry. Her research explores how these techniques improve risk stratification, treatment response evaluation, and clinical decision-making. She contributes to the standardization of MRD methodologies and investigates their potential to serve as surrogate endpoints in myeloma trials.
