Matthew Jenner

Academic History

Mattew Jenner, MBBS, MRCP, FRCPath, PhD, obtained his medical degree from Newcastle upon Tyne University, in 1997. He later obtained a MRCP from the Royal College of Physicians of London, and a FRCPath from the Royal College of Pathologists. Dr Jenner is clinical lead for hematology and is in charge of the clinical and laboratory service incorporating laboratory diagnostic haematology, general hematology, hematological oncology, blood and marrow transplantation and hemostasis/thrombosis.

Dr Jenner is particularly interested in chemotherapy, novel agents, high-dose chemotherapy and stem cell transplantation for the treatment of hematological malignancies, specifically multiple myeloma.
