Krish Patel, MD, obtained his medical degree from Duke University School of Medicine, Durham, NC, where he then went on to complete his residency and fellowship training. Dr Patel is now Director of Lymphoma Research and Executive Chair of the Lymphoma Research Executive Committee at the Sarah Cannon Research Institute, in Nashville, TN.
Speaking on the treatment of chronic lymphocytic leukemia and non-Hodgkin lymphoma
As an active clinical investigator, Dr Patel focuses his research on the early stage development of novel therapies for the treatment of patients with lymphoid malignancies, and is the principal investigator on a number of clinical trials, specifically Phase I and II trials in CLL, lymphoma, and cellular therapies.
