Jennifer Woyach

Academic History

Jennifer Woyach, MD, is a physician and assistant professor at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Centre, Columbus, OH.

Dr Woyach received her medical degree from the Ohio State University College of Medicine, Columbus, OH. She then continued to stay at Ohio State University completing an internship in general medicine, a residency in internal medicine, chief resident in internal medicine and fellowship in hematology oncology. To this day, Dr Woyach resides at Ohio State University as a physician and assistant professor in hematology.

Speaking on CLL, B-cell lymphoma and targeted therapies

Dr Woyach treats patients who suffer from blood cancers, including chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) and B-cell lymphomas. She is also an active member of the Leukemia Research Programme at Ohio State University and conducts research focused on CLL targeted therapies. Dr Woyach also led the collaboration which identified the mechanism of resistance in CLL to the BTK inhibitor ibrutinib.
