Hermann Einsele, MD, FRCP, of the University of Würzburg, Würzburg, Germany, is a physician at the Department of Internal Medicine II at the Würzburg University Hospital. Prof. Einsele obtained medical training from the Universities of Tübingen, Manchester, and London. Since 2004, Prof. Einsele has been a doctor of internal medicine at Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg, where he is also the director of the department. Prof. Einsele is the current Vice-President of the University of Würzburg.

Speaking on immunotherapy and novel therapeutic approaches for multiple myeloma

Prof. Einsele is an expert in multiple myeloma, stem cell transplantation, viral and fungal infections in immunocompromised hosts, adoptive immunotherapy and invasive aspergillosis in hematological and oncological patients. In 2014, he became the head of the Wilhelm Sander Therapy Unit for Multiple Myeloma Research. He speaks on immunotherapy, diagnostic strategies and novel therapies in multiple myeloma.
