Academic History

Deepti Radia, MBBS, BSc, MRCPI, FRCPath, MSc Med Ed, is a Consultant Hematologist at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, London UK, where she specializes in myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPNs) and is the Lead Clinician for the chronic myeloid leukaemia (CML) and systemic mastocytosis services.

Dr Radia underwent undergraduate medical training at the Royal London Hospital, London, UK, followed by Postgraduate Hematology training at Guy’s and St Thomas’ and a Fellowship at the Royal College of Pathologists, London, UK. She is the Training Programme Director for the Guy’s and St Thomas’ rotation, Chair of the London Specialist Training Committee, and Chair of the National Specialist Advisory Committee in Hematology.

She focuses on translational research with clinical trials; she is the Principle Investigator for the CML-SPIRIT 2 trial (NCT01460693) and the Myeloproliferative Neoplasm Symptom Assessment Form (MPN-SAF) study, and is the Co-investigator for multiple MPN trials.
