Anthony Mato, MD, MSCE, is a Hematologic Oncologist who has clinical expertise in Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL) and Lymphoproliferative Disorders. He is currently Director of the CLL Program at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre (MSK), New York, NY, where he is passionate about tailoring treatment to the individual patient.
Dr Mato studied medicine at SUNY Buffalo in 1998, then later gained his MSCE at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in 2008. Following this, he held residence at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Internal Medicine and completed a Fellowship in Hematology and Oncology before moving to MSK in early 2018.
Dr Mato is passionate about involvement in clinical trials, to provide his patients with the most promising new treatments. He has also contributed to a plethora of papers published in journals including Lancet Oncology and the British Journal of Hematology.
