Anthony Mato, MD, MSCE, is a Hematologic Oncologist who has clinical expertise in chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) and lymphoproliferative disorders. He is currently Director of the CLL Program at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC), New York, NY, where he is passionate about tailoring treatment to the individual patient.
Dr Mato studied medicine at SUNY Buffalo in 1998, then later gained his MSCE at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in 2008. Following this, he held residence at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in internal medicine and completed a fellowship in hematology and oncology before moving to MSK in early 2018.

Dr Mato’s research interests are novel treatments in clinical trials. He has also been published in prestigious journals, such as Lancet Oncology and the British Journal of Hematology.
