Academic History

Adrián Mosquera Orgueira, MD, PhD, is a Hematologist and cancer genomics researcher at the University Hospital of Santiago de Compostela, Spain, and the Health Research Institute of Santiago de Compostela (IDIS), Spain.

Dr Mosquera Orgueira completed his medical degree and specialized training in Hematology at the University of Santiago de Compostela, where he also obtained a PhD in Clinical Research and a master’s degree in Lymphoid Neoplasia. He has since become a leading figure in oncohematological cancer research, serving as the Group Leader of the Computational and Genomic Hematology (Grheco Xen) group at IDIS.

In addition to his research and clinical duties, Dr Mosquera Orgueira is an Associate Editor for Frontiers in Oncology and acts as a CAR T-cell advisor for the Spanish Ministry of Health. He is the Principal Investigator in several clinical trials focusing on lymphoma and chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) treatments.
