Abdul Hamid Bazarbachi, MD, is a Resident Physician, Jacobi Medical Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx, New York City, NY. Dr Bazarbachi completed his medical studies at the American University of Beirut, Beirut, Lebanon in 2018. He then moved to France and practiced as a Research Assistant at Hospital Saint-Antoine, Paris, France, until 2019. Dr Bazarbachi then completed his post-doctoral fellowship in molecular oncology at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Boston, MA, in 2020.

Speaking on multiple myeloma and allogeneic stem cell transplantation

Dr Bazarbachi’s research interests lie in multiple myeloma and its therapies, namely allogeneic stem cell transplantation. His recent work has included involvement in clinical trials to assess efficacy of pharmacological agents such as azacytidine after allogeneic stem cell transplantations as well as contributing to a comprehensive review of allogeneic hematopoietic cell transplantation for myelofibrosis.
