Dapolsertib in AML: results from the Phase I/II DIAMOND-01 trial

Roland Walter, MD, PhD, MS, Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center, Seattle, WA, presents data from the dose-escalation and dose-expansion Phase I/II DIAMOND-01 trial (NCT03008187), which investigated dapolsertib (MEN1703), a dual FLT3/PIM kinase inhibitor, in patients with acute myeloid leukemia (AML). Prof. Walter explains that dapolsertib demonstrated a manageable safety profile but modest single-agent efficacy and is no longer in clinical development for AML, though it may be investigated in combination with other inhibitors in the future. This presentation took place at the 8th International Workshop on Acute Leukemias (iwAL) in Cambridge, MA.
