Prithviraj Bose, MD, The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, TX, provides an update on the Phase III SENTRY trial (NCT04562389), which evaluated selinexor plus ruxolitinib versus placebo plus ruxolitinib in patients with JAK inhibitor-naive myelofibrosis, highlighting an unexpected statistically significant survival benefit. Dr Bose notes that the trial is being kept blinded to further understand this survival benefit and that spleen reduction correlated with better survival in both arms. This interview took place at the 14th Annual Meeting of the Society of Hematologic Oncology (SOHO 2026) in Houston, TX.
